Accommodation: 15 Marine Terrace was built in the late 1850s and has recently been fully renovated with electric under floor heating,  a new layout and a stunning terraced garden at the rear. There are superb views across New Quay Harbour and  Cardigan Bay to the mountains of Snowdonia.

Ground floor -  open plan sitting room with sofas and 42 inch flat screen TV, Log Burner-effect heater and views to the sea. The dining table seats 6 and the beautifully finished kitchen is at the rear of the house. Full size oven and grill, induction hob,  family size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and all the facilities to cater for any family holiday or celebration. There is also a washing machine on the ground floor plus iron and ironing table.

Upstairs there is a double  bedroom overlooking the harbour and the bay. with en suite large shower cubicle, WC and basin. There is also a twin bedroom with windows facing the sea .and the terraced garden.. The smaller back bed room has full size bunk beds . The family bathroom is adjacent to the bedrooms with a bath, corner shower, basin and WC, bath mats provided.

There is full under floor central heating downstairs,  plus radiators in all upstairs rooms.

Parking is on street, there is also a council car park nearby at £4.40 per day. or £16 p/week.

Outside: There is a newly constructed terraced garden behind the house, a stunning stone wall with  a series of steps  behind the house with 3 levels of seating, table and chairs . Access to the terrace is via steps with handrail, additionally there is an outside shower, ideal for sandy feet after a beach visit. Children should be supervised at all times when using the terraced garden due to the steep steps.

• Linen: bed linen provided and beds made up. Hand towels, bath mats and tea towels provided, please bring bath and beach towels.

• New Quay - This property is just a few minutes  walk from the centre of New Quay with its many pubs and restaurants and two beaches, Dolau beach to the west of the pier and the Harbour Beach to the east. Dolphin spotting boat trips, fishing,  kayak and paddleboard hire all available Easter to late October. There is a post office, 2 grocery stores, a local butcher shop, the RNLI shop, Cardigan Bay Wildlife Centre, lots of cafes, pubs, and small restaurants, a Friday morning Community Market at the Memorial Hall and lots of very tempting small shops. There are summer Festivals, Markets, Shows, and events throughout the summer months.
   

• Access: A car can be brought  to the front door of the house for unloading,  and on street parking is usually available. Ground floor is level throughout with wood laminate floors or slate slab . Full under floor electric  heating and double glazing throughout. with radiators in all upstairs rooms,  All bathrooms and bedrooms are upstairs. There are no specific adaptations for disabled use.
   

• Coastal Path: This house is just a few hundred yards to the new All Wales Coastal Footpath. The path at the end of Lewis Terrace,  above Marine Terrace will take you to Cwm Tydu and Llangrannog to the south or north to Aberaeron and eventually to Aberystwyth . Within a short distance, the path passes Bird Rock or 'Craig Yr Adar' in Welsh. Bird Rock is one of the ten most important bird colonies in Wales with Guillemots, Fulmars, Razorbills, Kittiwakes and gulls nesting there. Rare Choughs and Peregrine Falcons are also frequently seen on this section of the coastal path. In the poem 'Quite early one morning' Dylan Thomas mentions the path along the cliffs to the south of New Quay: ' I walked on to the cliff path again, the town behind and below waking up now so very slowly; I stopped and turned and looked....'
